Pesach Fair on TV

The popular TV station, “Astana,” broadcast a feature about the Pesach fair that took place at the Beis Menachem – Chabad Lubavitch shul in Almaty and was organized by local shluchim.

“Pesach is the important festival of the Jews,” the news presenter began, mistakenly adding that it is celebrated for eight days in Israel and seven in Kazakhstan (when in fact the reverse is the case).
The presenter explained that during Pesach the Jews eat only matzos and do not drink any vodka … She also said that  various products that were sold at the fair, including fish, meat, fruit, and vegetables, and kitchen utensils.
