Among the young students are Mushka Cohen of Almaty and Mushka Liberson of Barcelona, who are in fifth grade on Beit Sefer.Net. At the end of the year, the two decided to create a virtual day camp for young shluchos around the world. This way, they could find a constructive way to keep in touch and use the long days of the summer vacation in a Chabad educational atmosphere.
Eighteen girls around the world took part in the virtual day camp, which was run by the Cohen family. It began on 16th Tammuz and lasted nine days. Each day, there were two hours of activities, stories, and fun. As this was a virtual day camp, it worked in a slightly different way. The young counselors gave instructions to each girl over a webcam, and despite the time differences everyone managed to do arts and crafts, bake cakes, sing, and even enjoy some sporting activities together.
