Over one thousand names have already been registered. According to estimates by the local shluchim, around ten thousand Jews lie in the cemetery. In order to build up a proper list, local Jews have been asked to supply whatever details they have.
The computerized list will make it easier for members of the community to find their loved ones in the cemetery, which also contains the final resting-place of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, father of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
